DebbieMadson.com strives to offer its visitors the many advantages of Internet technology and to provide an interactive and personalized experience. The information you share with us is important to me and I have taken steps under the General Data Protection Regulation to make sure any information you give remains secure, only seen by those who need to see it and remains in my control.

Why I collect your information

If you contact me, using one of my contact forms you agree to give me your name and email address so I can reply to you. When our correspondence has finished, I delete all your personal information.

When you sign up for my newsletter, I collect your name and email address so I can send you weekly newsletters, as stated on our newsletter page. This information is only kept as long as you want to receive my newsletters. There is always a unsubscribe button on every newsletter if you choose to no longer receive our newsletters. Your information is then permanently deleted. 

If you submit a recipe or cooking idea to use through one of our forms, I ask for your name and email address. You can choose to leave that blank. The information remains on this website as long as you want, if you'd like it deleted please contact me so I can remove the page.

Your browser may accept "cookies". Cookies store personal information about your computer not you. Cookies tell the web server that you are returning to a certain page. You may accept or decline cookies for this website however you may not be able to participate in our website fully if you don't accept them.

Affiliated sites, linked sites and advertisements

I use third party advertising companies such as Media.net and Google to place ads on this website. They use cookies in their ads to check how many times you've seen an ad. I do not provide them with any personal information, they can not personally identify you with any information on this site.

The social media links throughout our site when clicked on will take you directly to that site and sends information such as your IP address, date, time and how long you visit. You can view their individual policies.

Governing law

This policy and the use of this Site are governed by Virginia law. If a dispute arises under this Policy we agree to first try to resolve it with the help of a mutually agreed-upon mediator in the following location: Virginia. Any costs and fees other than attorney fees associated with the mediation will be shared equally by each of us.
